Humanisterna Uppsala har nöjet att anordna ett föredrag med Johan Frostegård som talare. Titeln är "Evolutionsteorin på Darwins tid och idag - betydelse för moral, beteende, religion och sjukdomar".

Föredraget hålls på 150-årsdagen för utgivningen av "on The Origin of Species". Johan Frostegård är förutom professor i medicin vid Karolinska Institutet en aktiv författare. Hans senaste bok heter "Nästan allt om
människan - Evolutionen, generna, moralen och lite till" och det är också kring dessa ämnen föredraget kommer att handla.

Frostegård nämnde i början av föredraget sin bok ?Nästan allt om människan?. Vetenskapsmän och forskare som haft idéer eller forskning om evolutionen behandlades, både från tiden långt före Darwin och fram till idag. Huvudsakligen behandlades människans evolution och mänskliga aspekter. Efter föredraget tackades talaren med applåder. Kvällen avslutades med publikfrågor, cirka ett dussintal publikfrågor ställdes.

Initially conceived in 2006 as a pioneering concept initiated and implemented by Arabian Watches & Jewellery Magazine & PenME to establish industry standards in the region the Awards serve to recognize and reward the best brand performers in their respective categories through a rigorously screened process monitored by independent representative un-biased replica watches and experienced professionals.

The 2011 edition of the award will again be held alongside Jewellery Arabia Exhibition in Bahrain a regional meeting point for the international jewelllery and watch community.
